House of Many Bachelors, Saturday

Miguel's brother had shown up - thankfully not his mother, but Gabi was his own sort of exasperation - so Miguel had ended up sharing his room last night. This morning, he was making breakfast at least in part to escape and get his coffee on, leaving Gabriel in the main room to watch TV or whatever. There was such a thing as too much closeness.

And hey, it meant there would be omelettes, breakfast burritos, and bacon for breakfast.
