29 Chimera Court, Monday morning
Apr. 2nd, 2018 12:56 pmSo, this was apparently one of those weeks Eliot had warned him about. Fortunately, Miguel didn't seem to be too affected; maybe that was his extra healing kicking in. Maybe spiders didn't react to pollen? Heck, how was he supposed to know? He hadn't exactly planned for this in his calculations.
Anyway, it wasn't too bad, but it was still annoying enough that he'd called up Heather and asked if they could use him for a while. Now he was just making some coffee, eggs, and bacon before he headed back to the Panoptichron. Saving other worlds sounded good right about now.
[Open post to anyone in the house or who wants to drop by before Miguel heads out!]

He did pause briefly in the kitchen doorway. He needed to get some water, at least, before heading outside to swing a sword around possibly until he collapsed.
"Coffee? As if there isn't already enough extra energy to go around right now?"

Date: 2018-04-03 01:05 am (UTC)He would like to think that. But really, he'd be concerned. He'd hide it well, but he would be. And then he'd offer to help anyway.
Damn it.
"How much experience have you got with war?"

Sometimes, when we woke up in the dead of night, he was still there.
"Tell me about your enemy."

Date: 2018-04-03 01:39 am (UTC)Band of the bland?
Just wait until he found out they were possibly even more ridiculous than the sentient swarm of bees.

"Have any use for a strategist?"
It didn't hurt to ask. He wasn't certain he could necessarily hold his own in a fight against people who potentially had superpowers, these days. But his mind still worked perfectly well.
